We are encouraging everyone to focus on six key areas to significantly improve their lifestyle and overall well-being. These areas highlight simple yet impactful changes everyone can incorporate into their daily lives.
1. Healthy Diet:
Eating a healthy diet is fundamental to good health. The Centre recommends a “rainbow” approach, aiming for 30 different plant-based foods per week, including nuts, seeds, and beans. Increasing fiber intake through fruits, vegetables, and wholegrains is also advised. Incorporating fermented foods like kefir, kimchi, kombucha, and sauerkraut can also be beneficial. It’s crucial to avoid Ultra-Processed Foods (UPFs), which typically have more than five ingredients listed on their labels.
